About Performance Fabrication

Established in 2000, Performance Fabrication was started by Chris Schreyer, a certified welder providing repair, welding of structural steel, and providing hand rail and miscellaneous metals to contactors and local businesses. As word spread of our exceptional quality and complete service offering design, fabrication and installation, we began taking on large commercial, municipal and industrial projects. Today, we measure the amount of railing installed by the mile, and continue to provide complete service throughout the entire project.

Our current clients range from Ag manufacturing companies, Procurement companies, Municipalities, Colleges, Corporations, and same companies and people that gave us our start.

We have recently moved to our new 18,000 sq. ft fabrication facility located on Kerper Blvd, directly off highway 61/151 in Dubuque, IA. It features ground level doors, dock doors and an additional 10,000 sq ft of warehouse space.


We offer welding, repair, custom and production fabrication services, We will utilize customer supplied welding and fixtures, or design and fabricate them to get you the quality and product you desire. Please contact us for more information or a quote

Performance Fabrication is conveniently located in the Kerper Boulevard Industrial Park in Dubuque, IA. Our facility is easily accessed by the 151/61 corridor.
